DESCRIPTION: |
Adult Class - Chinese New Year
Inspired by the Chinese Garden, Casey Schwartz and Kit Wertz, the floral design team from Flower Duet, will teach students to create an low modern design full of Chinese New Year traditions. Each attendee will work with organic materials such as bamboo, pine boughs, fruit and fresh flowers and learn about the Chinese culture. Students will learn how to choose fresh flowers, care for them to make them last longer and hands-on step-by-step instructions on how to create their own designs they take with them.
Children's class - Tigers in the Grass
This is the Year of the Tiger. Students will learn about what the Tiger represents this New Year and will be making an flower arrangement based on a Tiger hiding in the grass.

Get inspired by the Chinese Garden and work with traditional Chinese New Year symbols of pine, plum blossom, bamboo and fresh flowers in a low modern design for your home
